Description of Classes

Kokushiryu Jujutsu
This educaitional system and lifetime sport, created by Professor Nobuyoshi Higashi, is derived from the fighting style of the ancient Samurai Warriors. The "mother" of Japanese martial arts, jujutsu consists of punches, blocks, kicks, throws, chokes, holds, grappling and joint techniques. Students learn discipline and how to focus their attention, providing confidence and self-esteem.
